Willard Beach
Willard Beach is the main beach of Ballito, it is a prime surfing beach and hosts the annual Ballito Pro. This beach has been awarded one of the few Blue Flag beaches in the country, in recognition of its beautiful setting, safe conditions, and excellent amenities. It offers plenty to see and to do. The beach has lifeguards on duty and is equipped with shark nets, this makes it a fantastic place to enjoy your choice of water sport.
The Ballito Pro is a leg of one of the world's largest surfing competitions (presented by Billabong). Surfers can head out to four main surf spots (Bathers, Bog, Sunrise and Surfers) to test their skills and forget about the worries of the world. The tidal pools are ideal for families with little ones that want to splash around in calm waters with no waves.
It is vibrant and abuzz with teens, little ones, couples and families, and a beach where everyone has fun. There are shops and restaurants at Willard Beach and indulge in some retail shopping. The promenade is a hotspot for joggers and dog walkers. The warm waters of the Indian Ocean, make this the perfect beach holiday destination almost all year round.

Beaches

- Willard Beach is the main beach for visitors to Ballito and is also home to the Ballito Pro
- Walk 15 minutes south of Willards Beach and you will reach the beach and rock pools of Clarke Bay. The beach is also protected by shark nets and there are lifeguards on duty.
- Salmon Bay is not protected by shark nets and there is no lifeguard on duty. It's a popular beach among the surfer crowd and the designated launch site for Ballito's Boat Clubhouse.
